Important Information – Stage 3 Refurbishment
Beachcomber International Resort will take place on Levels 5, 6, and 7 from 27 June to 11 September 2026, during which these levels will be inaccessible.
Works will include entrance tile replacement, kitchen floor tile replacement, bathroom refurbishments, and corridor upgrades with carpet tiles.
Construction will occur Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm, with jackhammering required in the initial weeks. While contractors will take steps to minimize disruption, noise is expected to travel throughout the building, and some disturbance will be unavoidable.

STAGE 3 REFURBISHMENT | CONSTRUCTION WORKS
Stage 3 of the 4-year refurbishment program at Beachcomber International Resort will soon commence on Levels 5, 6 & 7. These levels are scheduled to be blocked out between Saturday, 27 June 2026 to Friday, 11 September 2026 (inclusive).
Renovation works include:
• Replacement tiles to unit entrances,
• Kitchen floor tile replacement,
• Bathroom refurbishment (remaining units), and
• Corridor tiles (to the lift access) being replaced with carpet tiles.
There will be no access to these levels during this period.
Scheduled work times will be between 8.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. As works will include the removal of existing ceramic tiles in some bathrooms, kitchens, apartment entrances and lift foyers, jackhammering will be required, particularly during the first couple of weeks of the program.
Due to the nature of the buildings’ construction, it is expected that noise from the jackhammering will travel throughout the building. Contractors will take all measures to minimise disruption and noise disturbance wherever possible, however some disturbance cannot be avoided.
