Close to Lake Iseo and looking across to the magnificent scenery of the monti della Presolana, the Montecampione Alpiaz mountain resort is one of the newest and most modern mountain resorts. It is a perfect locatio for all winter sports but also ideal for summer walking and other outdoor activities. The resort is easily accessible from all locations in Northern Italy, and from other European Countries making it one of the most famous Alpine. Located at an altitude between 1200 and 1800 meters, a lot of thought planning and effort has gone in to creating a resort that is in harmony with its surroundings. Montecampione offers ski enthusiasts, 65 km of pistes with artificial snow available, 15 runs with different levels of difficulty, suitable for the beginner and expert skiers alike , all served by 13 lifts (8 chairlifts and 5 ski lifts). La Splaza offers 130 modern apartments and newly built housing in various styles and sizes. The resort has been designed in a classic alpine style set around a central circular piazza with ornate fountain. The position of the resort is at the foot of the new chairlift and with extraordinary panoramic views of the slopes and the arc of mountains. All apartments have a balcony and are equipped with simple and functional furniture which has been designed to meet the needs of the skier or mountain lover. The central square is a real outdoor social space with seating area, shops and eateries in the porch and solarium. The resort has a daytime reception, carport, entertainment and a mini club in high season.
