Accommodation includes 1 double and 1 single bedroom, leading into a further double bedroom. Bathroom with toilet. Sitting room with open fire. Farmhouse kitchen, a converted dairy with French windows leading onto secluded garden with stream. This farmhouse has been comfortably furnished. There are night storage heaters and electric convector heaters, electricity is paid by £1 meter. Sorry no television due to poor reception. There is an adjoining covered barn for car parking.
Sycamore Tree Farm at Mallerstang, near Kirkby Stephen is located in an elevated, isolated position with absolutely magnificent views across the start of the River Eden and the valley beyond. A shop and pub can be found three miles away in Kirkby Stephen.
The farmhouse is situated at the end of a long farm road and is completely surrounded by beautiful open countryside making this ideal for the hill walker.
Nearby can be found the Settle-Carlisle railway line with its Victorian viaducts, the carvings of Norse god Loki in a local church, the giant gravestones on Wild Boar Hill and Pendragon Castle. A car is essential at this property to fully explore all this lovely area of Cumbria.
