Sycamore Tree Farm at Mallerstang, near Kirkby Stephen is located in an elevated, isolated position with absolutely magnificent views across the start of the River Eden and the valley beyond. A shop and pub can be found three miles away in Kirkby Stephen. The farmhouse is situated at the end of a long farm road and is completely surrounded by beautiful open countryside making this ideal for the hill walker. Nearby can be found the Settle-Carlisle railway line with its Victorian viaducts, the carvings of Norse god Loki in a local church, the giant gravestones on Wild Boar Hill and Pendragon Castle. A car is essential at this property to fully explore all this lovely area of Cumbria.
