The tranquil Penhaven Estate provides a perfect base to relax and enjoy everything the region has to offer including great beaches, spectacular scenery and sightseeing. Plus plenty of activities including fishing, horse riding, walking and surfing. The Cottage is near to the prestigious golf courses of Saunton and Royal North Devon. There are numerous attractions in and around North Devon including Appledore, a thriving fishing and trading village since the 14th century, Clovelly, one of the world's unique villages, Bideford Bridge - Bideford gained its first market charter more than 700 years ago. The beach at Bucks Mills, part of Devon's coastal beauty, Great Torrington, at the very heart of Tarka Country, Lundy Island Nature Reserve, Hartland Point, Hartland Quay, Watersmeet, Lynmouth - offering spectacular coastal and woodland walking. Lynton and Lynmouth, with its famous cliff railway, Ilfracombe, Exmoor, Instow, The Valley of Rocks and Rosemoor Gardens (RHS) are just some of the many attractions in this lovely part of Devon.
