Renovated ski-in ski-out holiday apartments in an excellent location, right at the base of Ruka's slopes. The distance from Rukatunturintie to Kuusamon Tropiikki is about 22 km. Rukatunturi, also known as Ruka in Finnish, is a 1,610-foot high mountain and ski resort in Kuusamo, Finland. In addition to downhill skiing, over 500 km of cross-country skiing tracks are available. Visitors can also rent snowmobiles to explore the area's 600 km snowmobile routes. Ruka boasts one of the longest ski seasons in Europe, typically running from October to June. Ruka becomes a hub for hiking and mountain biking during the warmer months, with the Oulanka National Park and the renowned 50-mile Karhunkeiros hiking trail nearby.
