Style of property: Le Longere de Mouflon in France, is a traditional Breton Longere (Long House) converted to provide superb accommodation. This fully equipped, five bedroom property is able to accommodate twelve guests.

Furnishings & decorations: This beautiful property is furnished to a high standard and tastefully decorated.

Outlook & views: Outside there are two acres of gardens, with a children’s play area and plenty of space for boules and other games.

Principle rooms: Le Longere de Mouflon has five bedrooms all with washbasins and three bathrooms. On the ground floor there is a large entrance hall with the original fireplace, wooden stairway and telephone. The telephone accepts incoming calls and outgoing local calls only. You will need to purchase a phone card for long distance and international calls. The ‘piece de resistance‘ is the very large open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, approx. 70ft. There are plenty of comfortable sofas plus a television with English channels, dvd player, vcr player and a selection of videos, books and games. The fully equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar, large cooking range, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dryer. The dining area has a large Breton style table that will seat twelve people. There are two showers and toilets on the ground floor. Upstairs there is a bathroom with a  roll top bath and toilet and an additional separate toilet. The five bedrooms are all carpeted and have washbasins. There are two double bedrooms, two twin rooms and one family room with a double and bunk beds.

Outside living areas: French windows open out onto a private breakfast patio that catches the morning sun, the ideal spot to sit and have breakfast or morning coffee with unrestricted views of the open countryside. There is also your own large south facing terrace with plenty of patio furniture and a barbecue. The shared heated swimming pool is 10metres x 5 metres with Roman steps, space for sun loungers and secure fencing. There is a  large barn for table tennis, boules and other games and a selection of bikes for you to use. There is also ample parking next to the property.

Property Location: Le Longere de Mouflon in France is in a quiet rural location yet close to many activities, good restaurants and places of interest. The local village with a bakery and supermarket is just five minutes drive.

You will find plenty to do and see in this part of Southern Brittany, there are miles of beautiful coastline with superb beaches, pretty villages and fascinating medieval towns steeped in history, plus many tourist attractions.

The local beauty spot St Nicholas des Eaux is only a few minutes drive, situated on the River Blavet it offers a range of activities including a river cruise, pedaloes, and canoes to hire, fishing, cycling and riverside walks along the scenic towpath. There are a couple of restaurants, bars and an excellent creperie, all overlooking the river. 

Distance from town: The nearest town is Baud, a fifteen minute drive, an attractive bustling market town with a good selection of traditional shops and restaurants, two large supermarkets, a Brittany postcard museum and an indoor swimming pool. A car is essential at this property for full exploration of this lovely area.
