This is Montpellier's central square and one of the largest pedestrian areas of Europe. Visitors can shop in Ecusson, the historic city center. Walk the narrow medieval streets and take Instagram-worthy pictures in the center at the Three Graces statues. Make sure to visit the Place Du Peyrou, which was completed in 1774 and includes the Arc de Triomphe. When in Montpellier, you can visit wineries, go on a walking tour, watch a soccer match or make a day at the beach. After a busy day in the city, go back to the hotel and relax at the hotel pool.
