Shevaroys is located at Yercaud Hills in Salem. It was started in the year 1971 by Shri N. Ramaswamy Udayar. The hotel is well known for its impeccable quality of service for the past 40 years that it has remained operational. All units in the hotel are exquisitely furnished and provided by amenities of modern life. Each room has telephone, television, attached bathroom with hot/cold water supply and also receives room service. The hotel has 3 individual restaurants catering different cuisines. The hotel runs its own Bakery, Ice cream parlour, Chaat corner for snacks, Browsing centre for internet browsing and Magic Mountain which is an entertainment centre for kids. It also has a modern Business centre, Banquet Hall, On call Doctor, Parking space, Bonfire arrangements, Bar, Pickup/drop facility and Laundry services. It is famous for its lake, coffee plantations, natural perfumes, Pepper and schools. It houses a botanical garden with rare plants and trees. Yercaud coffee is famous in the world market for its texture and flavor. Yercaud’s temperature never rises above 30o C or falls below 13o C. This is one hill station where one does not feel the biting cold of winter. With such a salubrious climate, Yercaud can be visited round the year. It is an hour’s drive from Salem and is the least expensive hill station in India.
