Il Mithna Farmhouse on the island of Gozo, is a 400 year-old mill conversion, with character features, which have been kept in their original state. This fully equipped, three bedroom property is able to accommodate seven guests.
Accommodation: On the ground floor, the mill room has been converted into a large open plan kitchen, dining and living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, electric kettle and toaster. The dining area is equipped for ten guests and the sitting area has very comfortable sofas, two sofa beds, television and dvd player. Bathroom with shower. Patio with patio furniture.
On the first floor there is a double bedroom, a twin room and a triple room with an ensuite bathroom. A spare comfortable foldable bed is available. On this floor there is also another bathroom with shower and a balcony overlooking the patio.
On the top floor there is a washroom with washing machine, drying facilities and toilet. If organising a barbeque, you will find a kitchenette with fridge and freezer. On the roof garden you will also find a charcoal barbeque.
The lovely terrace is furnished with garden furniture, including sunbeds, a table, parasol and chairs. There is also a large eight person heated jacuzzi, where one can enjoy a 360 degrees view of the beautiful island of Gozo.
Il Mithna Farmhouse is situated in Xewkija, on the island of Gozo, between Ghajnsielem and the capital town, Victoria. Xewkija is the oldest village on Gozo, it is an ideal location, close to everywhere on the island as the island is just four miles by nine miles. Just one minute walk from the farmhouse one can find the most renowned bakery on Gozo, several grocery and butchers' shops.
The Farmhouse is just 1.5km from the closest beach, Mgarr ix-Xini, a beautiful unspoilt beach with just a couple of boat houses and a nice little restaurant. Xewkija is a twenty five minute walk from Victoria, which is the main town, where you will find the citadel, museums, the market and shopping centres.
The village next to Xewkija is Xaghra, offering attractions including the oldest standing temple in the world, Calypso cave and other places of interest. In Xewkija there is a diving centre, restaurants, and bars.
