When you arrive at Ourabay Resort, the scene of terracotta-tiled sunbathing terrace will let you know you’ve made it to Algarve. During the day, enjoy the spacious swimming pool with a poolside bar open for drinks. For the younger crowd, there is a separate children’s pool. In the evenings, you can sip cocktails in the lounge bar onsite.
Albufeira is paradise on the coast of Portugal. The famous city was once a fishing village that has become a major holiday destination. The beaches are the draw, with striking blue waters meeting sandy golden beaches and rock-formations rising sharply from the sea, a site that a hallmark of the Algarve region. With the ocean as a focus, watersports are enjoyed throughout the area, including boating tours, scuba diving, dolphin watching, and more. Several aqua parks in the region are must-sees, along with Zoomarine Park for family fun. Algarve is also known for its vibrant nightlife, easily accessible from the Ourabay Resort.
