Porches Apartment in Porches, southern Portugal is a beautifully equipped, two bedroom property to accommodate four guests.

Accommodation includes a spacious open plan lounge/dining room. Kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, hob and microwave. Two double bedrooms, one bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower, bath and toilet. Bathroom with shower and toilet. The apartment also has a large front and rear patio.

On site facilities include an outdoor swimming pool available in the summer months surrounded by landscaped gardens.

Porches Apartment is located in the charming small village of Porches on the Algarve in southern Portugal, about five minutes from the coast. There are several restaurants within walking distance and shops in the village. Porches is a famous for its handicraft and wine production. Porches is proud of its heritage with monuments such as its lovely 16th century Mother Church and the ruins of the ancient Castle.

The nearby town of Lagoa, 5km to the west, is the centre of the Algarve’s winemaking industry. Tours of the vineyards can be arranged through the local tourist office. The sleepy village of Alcantarilha, to the east of Porches, is famous for its bone chapel located by the side of the parish church. The entire interior is made up of the remains of some 1,500 parishioners. A short drive to the south stands Senhora da Rocha chapel, spectacularly situated on a rocky cliff overlooking a small beach of the same name. Traces of evidence from the Visigothic period date the chapel right back to before the Moorish occupation. Porches Apartment makes an ideal base for exploring this lovely part of the Algarve, a car being essential for full exploration of the surrounding areas.
