Maranatha in Achintraid, Scotland is a traditional stone detached 1.5 storey former Croft House set in its own garden. The house built in 1893 and refurbished in 1994 by local craftsmen is warm, comfortable and well equipped. This four bedroom property to accommodate eight guests has been awarded three stars by the Scottish Tourist Board.
Accommodation includes Lounge with freeview television. Fully equipped kitchen including fridge/freezer and microwave. 4 bedrooms; downstairs a large family room with double bed and cot and/or child's single bed. Upstairs, 3 bedrooms, 1 double room, 1 single and 1 three bedded room. Both bathroom and toilet are downstairs and a utility room houses the washer and tumble dryer.
On site there is a garden and children's play area and ample parking.
Maranatha is located in the peaceful crofting township of Achintraid looking north to the Applecross Peninsula, beyond lies the Torridon range of mountains and the Wester Ross Nation Scenic Area. Torridon is thirty minutes by road as is the Isle of Skye, via Kyle of Lochalsh.
Other easily accessible places of interest include Inverewe Gardens, Eilean Donan Castle, Glenelg brochs, Gairloch and Ullapool. This property makes an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful area of Ross-shire, a car being essential.
