The Maverick Resort is in a quiet, family-friendly area of Daytona Beach. We offer guests proximity to many of Daytona's best attractions, restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. The Maverick has an on-site restaurant serving breakfast and lunch, a year-round heated outdoor pool, a hot tub, shuffleboard courts, and gas grills. Our low-cost beach amenities package includes boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach umbrellas. Fishing, boating, golf, and tennis are all nearby. Join us for a morning orientation session over coffee and donuts, a jewelry-making class, and Bingo. The Maverick's Activity Director can assist guests with anything from dinner cruises to tee times. 

Ormond Beach is in the vicinity of Daytona Beach, one of the most popular beach destinations in the U.S. Lounge on the beautiful beaches, or enjoy deep-sea fishing, water sports, golf, and tennis. Visit Daytona's 'world's largest' flea market, open every weekend. There are also many other shops and malls in the area to satisfy the most passionate bargain hunter. The area offers plenty of attractions for the whole family, from cruises to casino gaming. The world-famous Daytona International Speedway, home to NASCAR's famed Daytona 500, is close by. Visit Blue Spring State Park to observe and learn about Florida's gentle manatees. Walt Disney World and Kennedy Space Center are about two hours away by car.
