Daytona Beach is a family-friendly beach town with nearly endless opportunities. If you enjoy water sports, you can surf, kayak, canoe, and parasail. The city is known for automobile racing and is one of the few places where its hard-packed sand lets visitors drive on the beach. Take in the NASCAR scene, get a day pass for the Daytona Lagoon Water Park, or fish off of the Main Street Pier. The newly restored Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, which is one of the best preserved in the nation, is a must-see!
