Our colors are inspired by the vibrancy of the Willamette Valley with bold art by local artists, custom furnishings, and mid-century touches. Our rooms are a perfect jumping off point for exploring Oregon’s Wine Country, or just walk a few steps and enjoy a variety of outstanding vintages from the five tasting rooms onsite! Against all odds. That’s the short version of how the Willamette Valley became one of the world’s most renowned wine regions.
It all started in the 1970s when a group of people with virtually no experience in the wine industry came to this fertile area to plant vines and see what would happen. Those original pioneers—Adelsheim, Ponzi, Erath, and Sokol Blosser, to name a few—now produce some of the greatest wines in the world. They knew that the red soil of the Dundee Hills—Jory—was something special. And they were right. Dundee is now the heart of the Willamette Valley. With Route 99—the wine highway—as its Main Street, Dundee is a thriving town with dozens of highly-rated wineries and top-notch restaurants. The Dundee Hotel offers stunning accommodations and a great location to explore Oregon Wine Country.
